We’re opening up the farm on Saturday 21st June to share the inner workings of a small-scale, agro-ecological vegetable farm in the 21st century!

Come and meet friends for a morning coffee and Hempnall village bakery pastry under the stretch tent, then join a tour of the market garden with head grower Phil Howes (10.30am start).

He’ll be showcasing some of the tools and machinery we use to grow 40+ crops on an acre of land.

Resident bee-keeper Jessie Giladi will be running tours to the apiary on the hour between 10am-2pm. Learn about how bee colonies behave, the different roles in the hive and how humans have managed to tame these vital pollinators. Protective clothing provided. Signup on the day (limited spaces).

There’ll be a chance to pick your own veg and flowers from the garden too, then weigh and pay. A great activity for the little ones!

We’ll be throwing some doughs after midday into the wood-fired oven for some of our irresistible stone baked Neapolitan pizzas. Seasonal toppings from the garden as well as our fan favourites.

We look forward to meeting you all.
